JRLs are pretty solid, especially the stay-cool blades. I find them quieter than my old Wahl.

They're definitely up there with Wahl and Andis in terms of quality and performance, maybe even better for the motor and blade tech. It really comes down to personal preference for feel, but you won't be disappointed with JRL.
